Activities and Athletics Home

Swift Creek offers a variety of athletic and extra-curricular opportunities for students.  These programs are designed to develop student interest and skills to prepare them for high school.  Our athletics teams compete in the large division of Leon County Schools’ middle school teams and regularly competes for championships in all sports.  Swift Creek also offers a variety of extra-curricular activities including clubs and organizations.  Please click on one of the links below to learn more about the opportunities available to our students.

Participation for Home Education and Private School Students

In accordance with Leon County Schools Board Policy 2431, eligible home education and private school students who choose to participate in a Leon County Schools athletic team or performing arts program are required to pay the applicable participation fee for each sport and/or activity in which they participate.

The participation fee shall be the greater of $400.00 per sport and/or activity, or the participation fee established for enrolled Leon County Schools students participating in that same sport or activity.

Only one participation fee will be assessed per sport or activity. Students will not be charged both amounts.  All participation fees are paid directly to the school where the student participates.  For participation requirements, applicable fees, and registration procedures, please contact the school's Athletic Director, Band Director, or Director.
